Work Experience

SeaWorld, San Diego

April - October 2018

Working in the theme park industry has been a dream of mine since I was five years old. Thanks to SeaWorld, I now have experience in the industry. I worked for SeaWorld as a Theatrical Services Technician. In this role, I controlled various aspects of park productions and special events, including audio and sound mixing. Specifically, I ran audio for the Cirque Electrique show, demonstrating that I can work in high pressure situations requiring precise timing. People visit theme parks for the storytelling experience; it is imperative to maintain this experience for the guests.

I also worked in the Sesame Parade, a brand new addition to SeaWorld, San Diego. I contributed to the adaptation of the Sesame Street Parade to function within the SeaWorld, San Diego park. I drove floats, provided input, and ensured the safety of guests and equipment.

Robolink
Robolink Inc.

November 2017 - September 2018

I work as an Intern for Robolink Inc., a company best described as part developer, part school. Robolink develops educational products to teach their users engineering skills. For example, one of these products is a drone that the user can program themselves, telling it to fly in certain patterns. The drone can also be controlled using a remote that the users build themselves!

Robolink is always developing new products. One that I collaborate on is Project Cubeworks. These are blocks that fit together, some concealing electronics or motors, to create awesome shapes that can then be programmed using Arduino. I contribute to the CAD assemblies for Cubeworks using Solidworks, and I use graphic design programs such as Photoshop and Affinity Photo to illustrate clear, step-by-step instructions. Please check out some of my work below!

Finally, I also develop advertising and tutorial videos for Robolink. Some of these videos have been showcased at conferences, Amazon, and YouTube. Three videos can be found in the gallery below.
