Being the President of ASME @ SDSU was an incredible learning experience. I became more comfortable speaking to large groups, met fantastic people, and took part in awesome projects. I worked with an amazing team of officers to grow the member base from less than 10 students to over 100! Below are a few of the projects the team worked on this year. Not pictured is the ASME Mentor Night, a night where representatives from engineering companies sat down with SDSU students to talk casually about engineering, how they got where they are, and to foster mentor relationships. One final note, the ASME SDSU logo seen above is all new to the club, and was designed by me!
